"For I know the plans I have for you,"declares the Lord," plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

                                            My Journey

Single moms come from all walks of life. Single moms may be unwed mothers, divorced or widowed. I divorced six years after having my second child. During that time of going through divorce, both my parents, my father-in-law and my aunt died. I could not deal with all the pain.

Instead of turning back to the Lord, I entered into a deep, dark, hole to numb the pain. I lived a very destructive lifestyle. It was hard to think about going back to church. I felt alone and isolated, and was dealing with all the guilt. I was taught against divorce. I couldn't forgive myself so how could God forgive me? Several years later I started watching one of the television ministries. Through that ministry, God spoke to my heart and I came back to the church. I rededicated my life to Christ and immediately started getting involved with Bible studies, educational studies and outreach.

Life is precious and God wants His best for us. Years later I met my future husband. Sometimes God takes us to a place in life that brings us back to Him. Don't let years go by without Him. God is the God of love, mercy and grace. You can have a personal relationship with your Creator. Jesus loves you!

                            Share Your Journey

Please take a moment and share your journey. You are not alone and other women need to know the struggles, and the blessings in your life. You may still be going through struggles but there is hope. See what a wonderful difference the Lord has made in many women and their children's lives. The Lord did not promise that we will not go through hard times, but He did promise us that He will see us through those days of trouble. Jesus promised that He would never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 50:15 Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.

Hebrews 13:5 Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.

Matthew 7:7 I am with you always.
